The first round of the 2025 Mock Trials Competition, hosted by the Law Society of Western Australia, saw our two La Salle teams—La Salle Lawsuits and La Salle Litigators—go head-to-head with the formidable Perth Modern School.

Our Year 12 team, the La Salle Lawsuits, were successful in their opening round, demonstrating strong legal reasoning, teamwork, and confidence under pressure. Meanwhile, the Year 10/11 team, the La Salle Litigators, narrowly missed out on a win by just two points—a true testament to how close the competition was. This was a particularly impressive outcome for our Year 10/11 team considering it was the very first trial for many of these students.

Both teams are to be highly commended for their dedication, preparation, and the professionalism they displayed throughout the evening. We look forward to seeing their continued progress in the upcoming rounds.
