From Thursday 16 until Friday 17 October our 2026 Student Council leaders in Years 7 to 11 travelled to Serpentine Camping Centre for an intensive and transformative leadership experience.
Throughout the camp, students participated in dynamic team-building activities designed to forge the foundation for an effective and cohesive 2026 council. Mr Josh Cappi provided invaluable input on essential leadership and strategic planning skills, equipping students with practical tools and frameworks for success in their roles. Significant time was dedicated to collaborative planning sessions across various teams, including year groups, House teams, and Council portfolios, ensuring every aspect of student leadership was carefully considered.
The camp reached its pinnacle in a moving liturgy where all participants committed themselves to servant leadership within the school community, pledging to follow the example of Jesus and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit as they prepare to serve their fellow students throughout the year ahead.Â
We can’t wait to see their planning and preparing in action, we know they will excel in their roles and strengthen our Lasallian community.
