I’ve had the privilege of being part of the La Salle College Parents & Friends ‘family’ from the day my son joined this amazing school. We are a group of ordinary people that want to participate a little more in the school and contribute to how we can make it a better place for our kids in the future.
Being secretary has been so rewarding for me! I get to coordinate the meetings and keep our communications flowing between team and school and I sometimes feel like the ‘conductor of the orchestra’ whilst our other team members do the fabulous work of actually ‘playing the music’. I see it as a gift to me, offering friendship, respect for my voice to be heard and quiet gratification that my son is proud to have his mum involved in the school that he loves.
May celebrates National Volunteers Week. Can you believe, CSPWA celebrates their 70th Anniversary? We attribute our great success to the wonderful ‘YOU’ that have offered your time to all our calls for help.
This term we held a Mother’s Day Drive and have some great upcoming events like the Big Bingo night where you can participate and add to La Salle’s success.
