On Friday 6 August, all the students from our St Joseph Education Support Centre were invited to compete in the ACC Inclusive Soccer Carnival. We took a bus to Pat Goodridge Reserve and played games against other schools. Another team of students headed to Lords Sports Centre to compete in an indoor competition. Before we played our games we did a warm up and soccer drills with our coaches who were students from another school. Then we went and played five games and two of teams made the finals. La Salle Team 2 were Runners-Up at the ACC Carnival losing a great game against Christ Church. La Salle Team 1 played off in the minor final and came home with an awesome win. It was a great day and we look forward to participating again next year.
