Cooking in Harmonious Collaboration

In celebration of Harmony Day which fell on 21 March, Year 11 and 12 students from the Education Support and Aboriginal Education classes teamed up to cook a lemon myrtle cheesecake, which they were able to sell as a morning tea item at Café De La Salle.

As part of the collaborative experience, students got to get to know more about each other and learn about each other’s backgrounds while creating their cheesecake masterpieces.

Students also discovered more about the wonderful smelling ingredient – the lemon myrtle including where they could purchase it from.

With lots of fun had by all complete with a delicious outcome, we are definitely looking forward to students from the two classes undertaking more group projects together.
