On Friday 29 November the Annual Staff v Year 10 Students Gary Veen Cricket match was played here at the College.
The students went into bat first, with a member of the Veen family bowling the first ball. Our Year 10s batted courageously but were all out for 89. Staff made short work of the total, chasing down the runs with plenty of overs to spare, losing only three wickets along the way.
The match is played in memory of former Deputy Principal Mr Veen and has been a special tradition in our Lasallian community for almost two decades.Â
Thank you again to our staff and students who played the game in wonderful spirit and with great pride.Â
