On Thursday 24 October, our Year 8 students invited their grandparents or a special person in their lives to join them at the College in celebration of Grandparents’ Day. The morning started with a touching Liturgy in our school Chapel where students gave readings and reflected on the history of the College.

 

Each student then presented their grandparents with a special card to show their appreciation. After the Liturgy we gathered in the Peter Elloy Staff Centre for a delicious morning tea of scones, pastries and fruit. Our students were able to share a little bit of their school lives with their grandparents as they proudly showed them around the College. It was wonderful to see generations coming together to learn from each other and share a special morning together.
