On Thursday of Term 1 Week 10, students participated in the annual Inter-House Athletics Carnival. This year’s event was hosted at the College and it did not disappoint with plenty of Lasallian spirit, speedsters and sunshine across the day. 

The oval buzzed with competitive energy as students donned their House colours primed and ready to cheer, compete, and celebrate everything that makes our school community so special. Students embraced the spirit of the day with chants echoing across the school grounds and a rainbow of costumes on display.  

From the first on your marks to the final novelty event, students impressed with their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and talent on the track and field. Whether it was flying down the 100m track, launching into the shot put circle, or dressing up for House spirit, everyone contributed to making the 2025 Inter-House Athletics Carnival a standout day.

 A big congratulations to Brigid House, who were crowned winners of the House Spirit Cup—a testament to their incredible energy and participation throughout the day. As for the overall points? Solomon House is currently in the lead, but the competition is far from over as we roll into post-carnival events in Term 2, where more House and Champion Boy/Girl points are up for grabs.
