Please find below a link from the WA Government outlining the purpose of OLNA (Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment) testing. The letter explains the link between NAPLAN/ OLNA and the requirements for WACE Year 12 Graduation. This information has also been sent to you via SEQTA.
La Salle College will be conducting OLNA on the following days in 2022:
Round 1
- Writing- Monday 28 February
- Reading- Monday 14 March
- Numeracy- Monday 21 March
Round 2
- Writing- Monday 29 August
- Reading- Monday 5 Sept
- Numeracy- Monday 12 Sept
Please make sure these dates are in your calendar as they are important days in which students need to be at school.
The College will run catch up tests for those students absent on the scheduled testing days.
More information on the best strategies to help support students will be sent at the start of the 2022 school year from the Leaders of Learning for Mathematics and English.
Homework classes, especially for OLNA will be run in the weeks leading up to the testing dates after school.
