Last term our students put on an incredible evening of music at La Salle College’s Annual Music Night.

After hours of rehearsals, the stage came alive with performances from all eighteen ensembles – from the Year 7 Band to our Concert Band, Showband, Choirs, Percussion Ensembles, and more. Every group showcased the dedication, teamwork, and musical growth that has made this year such a successful one for our music program.

We took time to thank our amazing Arts and Music Captains Idella, Shyanne, Liam and Alexander, who have provided outstanding leadership throughout a busy year of rehearsals, concerts, festivals, and special events.

A special congratulations also goes to Natasha (Year 12), who was honoured with the Director of Music Award for her remarkable commitment, musicianship, and contribution to the La Salle’s music life during her time at the College.

The night wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our instrumental tutors, teachers, and backstage helpers who worked tirelessly to bring the program together. And of course, a huge thank you to our parent team, who not only supported the evening but also helped raise funds towards the exciting 2026 Melbourne Music Tour.

Music Night 2025 was a wonderful celebration of what makes La Salle Music so special – connection, courage, flexibility and engagement. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of live music.
