On Wednesday 1 December our Science Technology and Robotics Team (START) made up of Year 7 and 8 students competed in their first Lego League regional competition at Averley Secondary College.

This years competition was titled Cargo Connect, with teams having to build and program Lego robots to complete mini challenges. Teams also worked on an innovation project, researching problems affecting the transportation and delivery of Cargo and then presented their solutions to the judges. Congratulations to both our START teams who placed 5th and 8th out of 20 teams. The team that placed 5th also placed 2nd for their innovative research project and have been invited to compete in the State finals at Curtin University.
