This year, music students participated in the La Salle College Music Boot Camp across Saturday 25 June and Sunday 26 June – an alternative to our traditional overnight camp. The La Salle Choir, De La Dolce, Concert Band and Show Band gathered for intensive rehearsals, preparing for the Catholic Performing Arts Festival this term. Rehearsals included games and team building activities including a team costume competition which was won by the yellow Minion team. Thank you to all the staff that volunteered and supported the students at this event.

Senior Music Soiree

On the evening of Tuesday 21 June we hosted our first major Music performance of 2022, the Senior Music Soiree. The concert featured senior solo performances from Year 10-12 students, and was also a compulsory assessment for the Year 10 Music class.

Some of our College ensembles also featured, including La Salle Smooth, De La Dolce, the Flute Choir, and the Year 10 Combined Band. All the performers presented themselves formally and professionally and should be proud of their diverse and strong performances.
