The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) has appealing for help for koalas injured in the South Australian and Victorian bush fires – in the form of mittens.
So to show our support, the Year 10 Fashion and Technology students have united to produce over 250 pairs of koala mittens after becoming sympathetic from viewing some of the devastating footage from the recent bush fires in South Australia and Victoria. Over the course of a week we collaborated, using our class time and newly acquired sewing skills which was put towards this good cause.
