As we start the school year, we remind our community to please adhere to the City of Swan parking Local Laws and regulatory signage.
The City of Swan has advised us that parking patrols will continue to monitor La Salle College this year.
Our school is a busy place, especially at drop off and pick up times, so we need to work together to keep it safe for our students.
Keep in mind that you are:
- Sticking to the speed limit within the school zone (10km/h within school grounds)
- Use crosswalks at all times
- Following the parking signs and avoiding parking on footpaths
- Considering the use of alternative transport options including carpooling, public transport, cycling and walking (even if only from across the oval)
- Using designated College Pick up/Drop off areas where possible
The College has also installed a new bike rack for our students that choose to ride to school. This new bike rack is located in the area between the Gym and the Vineyard. Students are encouraged to still use their own bike locks and begin utilising this new space.
