As we begin one of our busiest school terms, I would like to remind all our families to make safe and respectful choices when driving in and around the College. With increased traffic due to College events, your cooperation is essential in keeping our school community safe. Please take note of the following to help reduce congestion and maintain safety:
- Within College Grounds: When queuing, please fill all available spaces in the drop-off and pick-up areas to keep cars off surrounding roads.
- Muriel Street Queue: Stay to one side to allow other vehicles to pass and avoid blocking traffic along Great Northern Highway.
- Parking in Surrounding Streets: Be mindful of local residents. Avoid blocking driveways and intersections and respect private property. Please pay attention to parking signs, as parking inspectors do frequent the area.
- Student Pick-Up: If collecting students from nearby streets, encourage them to use designated crosswalks.
- Speed Limits: Observe the school zone limit of 40km/h and the 50km/h limit in built-up areas, unless otherwise signed. The speed limit within the school grounds is 10km/h.
Thank you for your patience and support during this busy time. Together, we can ensure a safe environment for all.
Ms Tanya Manning | Deputy Principal Year 7-9
