Semester One Reports 2022

17 June 2022

Semester One Reports are one way of providing families with feedback about their child’s academic progress. The expected standard for each year is described as ‘C’ or  Satisfactory. All grades are determined through the use of the Achievement Standards provided by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.

If your child has been awarded a ‘D’ or ‘E’ grade in any subject, then you are encouraged to communicate with the respective teacher. Concerns with their progress should be addressed immediately to ensure satisfactory performance is achieved by the end of the school year.

The Academic Summary on your child’s Semester One report provides parents with information about their child’s performance in each of their subjects. The subject data reports student achievement on a five-point scale.

  • Students in Year 11 and Year 12 will receive a course grade, course percentage and exam mark if on an ATAR pathway
  • Students on a General pathway in Year 11 and Year 12 will receive a course grade and course percentage only
  • Students in Year 10 will receive a course grade, course percentage and exam mark (if applicable)
  • Students in Year 7 to Year 9 will receive a course grade and course percentage (if applicable).

Further information on your child’s performance can be found in SEQTA. Semester one reports will be available to view and download on SEQTA from 4 pm on Friday 1 July, 2022.
