On Monday 2 August, our Senior Boys AFL team played Corpus Christi College in the Grand Final of the Simply Energy Cup – Glen Jakovich Division at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean.

The competition is coordinated by the West Australian Football Commission and the Secondary School Football Advisory Committee and more than 3,000 students from country and metropolitan schools throughout WA participate in the high-quality interschool competition.

La Salle College Coach Mr David McKay said,  I’m really proud of the boy’s efforts across this season.

“They represented the College with great spirit and exceptional team work to win the Cup for the first time since 2009.”

Mr McKay said, the team went through the competition undefeated and came from behind against a quality opposition in Corpus Christi to win the Cup by a margin of 14 points.
