Year 12 general pathway students will complete their External Set Tasks by SCSA during weeks three to five in normal class time. There will be a home study day for all Year 11 and 12 students on Thursday 27 May in preparation for upcoming exams.
All Year 11 and 12 ATAR students are required to attend the College to complete their examinations from Friday 28 May until Thursday 10 June. General pathway students will be using this time away from the College to complete work that will assist them in preparing for post-school destinations. ATAR students should already have a well-developed study routine and are encouraged to be mindful of their well being by taking breaks, exercising and sleeping well. All Year 11 and 12 students will return to school for normal classes on Monday 14 June.
Year 10
Year Ten students are required to sit Semester One Exams in English, Mathematics, Science, HASS and Religion at the College from Thursday 3 June until Friday 11 June. These exams play a pivotal part in our parent meetings at the end of Term 2 regarding Year 11 2022 Subject Selection. The examinations will also assist in determining the best pathway for students in Year 11.
Wellbeing
Wellbeing is a critical factor in learning and students are reminded they should be aiming for eight to nine and a half hours of sleep every night. Prayer, mindfulness, and hobbies are all important practices in regulating the mind for successful learning.
We wish all of our Senior School students the best of luck for their Semester One exams. May they aim high, work hard, and focus on what they can control.
