Last year the WA Football Commission ran the Inaugural Starkick Design a Jumper competition. The competition challenged students to get creative and design a Football Jumper that showcased the essence of their school.
The competition was close, with amazing entries from Education support students from across the WA. Ex-Lasallian student (2023), Olivia Ricks was the winner of the competition with her inspiring artwork and the thoughtful elements put into her design. Inspired by her indigenous background she created a design that reflected the College Education Support Unit, Aboriginal Education and College football teams, as well as our proximity to the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River).
Hayden Marchetto GAICD, All Abilities Football Association joined us at Assembly last month to present the prize of a full set of Football Jumpers to Olivia and La Salle College Sports Coordinator Mr Riley Milligan. The jumpers were proudly worn for the first time by our Senior Girls Football team this Term.
Please join us in celebrating Olivia’s achievement and contribution to our College community.
