Duke of Edinburgh Award

Congratulations to Year 11 student Sara Rowe who was awarded the Gold Duke of Edinburgh back in October – an outstanding achievement.
The Gold Level Duke of Edinburgh Award is the highest level of this international award, an award that is recognised worldwide with recipients of the award highly sought after in the workplace.

There are only a few of them awarded annually and to be eligible, participants must complete a minimum of 52 hours of voluntary service, physical recreation, skills as well as completing an adventurous journey and a gold residential project over a year.

This is a tremendous achievement and we’re looking forward to seeing Sara received her gold certificate at the Gold Award Ceremony at Parliament House in 2021.

Mathspace Transformative 20 Award

Well done to Year 8 student Arwyn Alvarez, who was recently recognised with the Mathspace Transformative 20 Award.

One of only twenty student recipients, her outstanding passion and commitment towards math did not go unnoticed and we’re delighted that it has been recognised by others outside our College.

Amazing effort and well done again.
