Our English Department is running the Write a Book in a Day competition run by The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Write a Book in a Day is a fun and creative team writing competition for students in years 5 – 12 with some very unique aspects:

• It involves a collaborative team effort (5 – 10 per team) where students plan, write and illustrate a book
• Every story grows from a unique set of parameters given to each writing team
• The book must be completed within 12 hours
• Completed books are shared digitally with sick children in hospitals across Australia.

Last year, La Salle entered three teams, and we are hoping to build on that this year. Please get in contact with our English Department for more information on the Write a Book in a Day competition.
