On Thursday 29 August, we were delighted to host Tracey Anthony from TrackyDak Co. Tracey is a youth coach who uses reflective practices to help teenagers and young adults become empowered navigators of their own worlds. Tracey works both one-on-one with young people, and with large groups of school students, to help to re-frame issues they might be facing. Tracey spent the day with a small group of Year 11 students, speaking with them about their experience of Transitioning from Year 10 into Year 11, and also focusing on their personal leadership skills. The students had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities, that allowed them to reflect and discuss their own personal experiences. Tracey will be returning to the College to share this work with our Year 10 students, who will be experiencing the transition into Year 11 themselves in the near future. The current Year 11 students will join Tracey, to share their advice and experience with the Year 10s. Our hope is that we can make the journey into Year 11 a little smoother and less stressful for our students. Shannon Smith Deputy Principal 10 – 12
