Student Media Consent Form
Throughout their time at school, we may photograph or film our students for publications, such as the school’s newsletter, College Annual or external school website, social media sites, and/or to promote the school in newspapers and other media. La Salle College may also use a student
photograph/video for promotional, marketing, media and educational purposes.
We understand that some parents and guardians may have concerns about their child’s image being used for the above purposes. It is important to note that:
- We focus on sharing group photos unless an individual is being celebrated
- We rarely publish a student’s full name (with the exception of our internal publications, College Annual and Delagram Newsletter)
- We use first names for celebrating a student achievement on social media
- A student’s full name may occasionally be used on social media if it has already been publicly acknowledged e.g., named in a state sporting team online.
At any time, you may request to have a photo taken down from our social media or school website.
This can be done by emailing staff at communications@lasalle.wa.edu.au.
Please answer the questions below so we have a current record of your child’s photo permissions in our system.
