As we approach the season of giving, Vinnies mission is to ensure that no one feels alone or goes without a warm meal during Christmas. This vision is the beauty of human kindness and compassion and unites us as a community. We have the power to create a more hopeful and brighter holiday season for all.

That’s why La Salle College has joined forces with the 2023 Vinnies Christmas Appeal to ensure that families living in the local area can enjoy a heartwarming “Merry Christmas”.

We are grateful for the generous spirit that flows through our Lasallian community and hope that if you are able to, you will contribute $5 (per family) to support the Appeal and donate a non-perishable food or hygiene product.

Families have the option to make their $5 donation in cash through their PCA or via online transfer, using the convenient TryBooking link. Our dedicated Year 8 Young Vinnies group will use the funds donated to purchase gifts for local families in need.

The St Vincent de Paul Society is a well-respected charitable organisation in our area, and is already making a significant impact, with several students, parents, grandparents, and teachers actively participating in their relief programs. Together, with the Year 8 Young Vinnies students, La Salle College and Vinnies are committed to assisting those grappling with homelessness, hunger, and financial hardships.

All donations are due by Week 8 of this term.
