Students shine in community sport

Congratulations to Matilda, Isabella, Ava, Jack, Chris and Madeline for their sporting success in Term 1 and over the Easter break. 
 
Matilda Wilkins Yr 10 – Placed third, representing La Salle College in the Equestrian WA Interschool State Championships competing in the Show Horse Senior Championships. 
 
Isabella Clarke Yr 10 – Represented WA Baseball at the Australian Youth Women’s Championship held in Melbourne, with WA taking home the bronze medal, making it their first medal since 2016.
 
Ava Buselich Yr 12 – Ava attended the National Netball Championships in Victoria playing in the 17/u team. Congratulations to Ava and the team who took home the silver medal.
 
Chris Wright Yr 12 – Chris won multiple medals at the WA State Track Cycling State Championships including gold in the Blue-Ribbon event, the Individual Pursuit. He then represented WA in the Australian Track Cycling Championships in Brisbane and had two top ten finishes, two 8ths and two 12ths.
 
Jack Wright Yr 12 – Jack won multiple golds at the WA Sprint Kayaking State Championships which earned him selection for the WA State Team. He had a great Australian Sprint Kayaking Championships in Sydney, with 5 top ten finishes, 4th, two 5ths, 7th and 8th.
 
Madeline Wright Yr 9 – Over the summer Madeline won gold at the All-Schools WA State Championships, crowned State Champion in the 2000m Steeple Chase. She went onto represent WA at the Australian All School’s Championships where she finished 6th.
