The Year 8 Italian students enjoyed a fun learning experience on Monday 19 June, as part of their Languages Incursion.

The activities started with a presentation and interactive workshop about Italian folk dancing, provided by Bianca Bartucciotto and her dance troupe. The students learnt about the history of tarantella, its religious importance and had the opportunity to learn some steps – which they put into practice with great success.

The students enjoyed pizza napoletana e frittatine, as well as delicious cannoli alla crema and after lunch watched the Italian movie The Invisible Boy while enjoying a few scoops of Italian gelato.
