Talents shine at music Soiree and Camp

30 June 2021

Through concerts, performances and exhibitions, students at La Salle College are given opportunities and confidence to showcase their talent.

Our annual College Music Soiree was held a few weeks ago and showcased our talented senior students that study or perform Music.

The night consisted of a mixture of classical, jazz and contemporary solos with our small jazz ensemble, La Salle Smooth and female chamber choir, De La Dolce featuring some of our most talented lower school students.

The audience were treated to an entertaining evening and enjoyed a delicious supper with the students at interval.

Camp

On the 18 June six teachers and 108 students participated in Music Camp at Serpentine Camping Centre in preparation for the Catholic Performing Arts Festival in Term 3. Students rehearsed with great enthusiasm over the two-days and had a wonderful time supporting each other.

There was also time to watch a movie and most importantly, create memories and have fun. As always, the annual talent quest was an enjoyable event at the camp.

Thank you to the staff and students for your hard work throughout the weekend.
