ThinkUKnow presentation

29 August 2023

Sacred Heart Mundaring will be hosting a parent education night on Wednesday 13 September at 6.00pm in their school library featuring a ThinkUKnow presentation on preventing online exploitation.

They have generously opened their doors to any parent, guardian or staff in our College community who would like to make the most of this opportunity to learn about young people and the online environment, and how we can help them to be safe and responsible users of technology.

The presentation, which will be delivered by a local law enforcement member and an industry volunteer, is pro-technology and addresses topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, sexual extortion, and importantly encourages help seeking behaviour.

If you would like to attend this presentation hosted and held at Sacred Heart, Mundaring, please send Sacred Heart Teacher Emma Duncan an email at emma.duncan@cewa.edu.au as soon as possible.
