On the trails for outdoor recreation

11 May 2021

Our Year 11 Certificate II Outdoor Recreation students attended a mountain bike excursion at Lake Leschenaultia in Chidlow on Monday 10 May, 2021.

Certificate II Outdoor Recreation students are provided with practical opportunities to explore and develop a good understanding of the impact and relationship they can have with the natural environment through activities such as mountain biking.

As part of their preparation for the excursion, students were involved in planning the trip and deciding which mountain bike trails they would ride. And what sort of trail would it be without a few jumps?

As you can see from these photos, it was perfect weather for an outdoor adventure and our Year 11 students (and teachers) had an amazing time experiencing Perth’s beautiful mountain bike trails!
