At the end of Term 3 the final days of formal classes ticked over for our Year 12s. Filled with a special kind of excitement, reflection and emotion, the Class of 2026 marked the end of an important chapter of their lives at La Salle College. Students had some moments of reflection at their final Mass and enjoyed friendly rivalry in the staff versus students volleyball and football matches.
They also came together and enjoyed a cooked breakfast in the Peter Elloy Staff Room where they were presented with their Leavers Publication, a collection of photos and memories of their time together at the College.Ā
Their final Year 12 Assembly was a chance to celebrate the journey they shared and the community they helped shaped while also thinking about the exciting future and opportunities that lay ahead.Ā
One of the most memorable moments of the final week was the much-loved tradition of our Year 7 Guard of Honour.
Cheered on by our Year 7 students, the Class of 2026 walked out of their final assembly, marking a heartfelt farewell to their formal school days. It was a beautiful reminder of the connections that make La Salle special and of the generations of students who share in our Lasallian community.
As we look back on these final days, we celebrate the friendships formed, the laughter shared, the challenges overcome and the countless moments, big and small, that have shaped and prepared our Class of 2026 for their broader life journey.
Wishing all our Year 12 graduating students the best for the future.Ā
